Project Overview
As Marketing Coordinator for Lanier Islands Resort, I helped lead a refresh of the resort’s social media presence and digital branding strategy. The goal was to create a stronger, more cohesive visual identity across social platforms while increasing audience engagement, brand awareness, and bookings. Over the course of one year, the resort’s Instagram following grew from 10,000 to over 20,000 followers through strategic content development, improved branding consistency, and audience-focused campaigns.
Process
I developed and executed a refreshed social media strategy that focused on stronger visual storytelling, elevated creative direction, and more engaging content tailored to the resort’s target audience. This included creating branded graphics, photography direction, video content, promotional campaigns, and trend-driven social posts that aligned with the resort’s voice and seasonal offerings. I also utilized analytics and audience insights to identify high-performing content types, optimize posting strategies, and improve overall engagement. In addition to social media management, I collaborated with influencers, supported paid advertising campaigns, and maintained website content updates to ensure consistency across digital platforms.
Results
The updated strategy significantly strengthened the resort’s online presence and audience engagement. Instagram followers doubled within one year, while engagement rates and overall brand visibility improved across multiple platforms. The refreshed visual identity created a more polished and recognizable brand experience that better reflected the resort’s atmosphere and offerings. This project highlights my ability to combine graphic design, branding, content strategy, analytics, and digital marketing into measurable business growth.
